Oats So Easy! Poker grand final news

It’s been a long hot summer for Rileys’ poker players, with King of Clubs Series 3 being played out in over 80 clubs – but all the bad beats and bluffing came to a conclusion on the night of 22nd September with the Main Event at RileysPoker.com.

With 391 players sitting down to start, out of a possible 430, the attendance was fantastic and play got underway without a hitch. As always, a few players chanced their arm straight away and first to bite the dust was ‘toffay’, closely followed by another seven players within the first five minutes! After half an hour, over 60 players had gone out and the chip leaders were dominating play.

Anyway, to cut a long (very!) story short, the kudos, the first prize and our congratulations go to ‘refsnoz’ from Glasgow!

In fact, it would seem that Scotland is churning out poker players at a rapid rate. King of Clubs Series 2 was won by a Scot and Scottish players were placed 1st, 2nd and 4th this time too!

Must be something in the porridge ……
